Description:

This deposit contains the data and R code used to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of urban building energy efficiency improvements in China from 2020 to 2050. The analysis integrates a building stock turnover model, a building energy simulation model (EnergyPlus), and a power system planning model (GridPath). Included are: (1) key input assumptions and pre-processed final energy demand data; (2) cost-benefit analysis scripts; and (3) figure generation scripts. The deposit supports the findings reported in Liu et al., Energy System Savings Largely Offset the Costs of Urban Building Energy Efficiency Improvements in China
